HTC One Google Edition hits Play Store in the US on June 26th

HTC One with the Nexus user experience will hit the Play Store on June 26th for $599 has been confrimed by Sundar Pichai. HTC’s “Google Edition” device will be available on the same day as the Samsung Galaxy S4 “Google Edition”, which the price is $649.

According to HTC’s site, the HTC One with Nexus user experience will be exactly like the SIM unlocked and Developer Edition. That device featured the same hardware as AT&T’s version, but with slightly altered software. That means the HTC One with Nexus experience will operate on all of AT&T’s networks, but it will be limited T-Mobile LTE and HSPA+ on the 1900 MHz band.

A representative from HTC also said, ”A Google Edition of the new HTC One running stock Android will only available exclusively through the Google Play store in the United States starting on June 26th.  This edition specification same with the HTC One Sense edition, but this  HTC One running on the stock version of the latest Android software, Jelly Bean 4.2.2.”
